Elevators by Tenara Calem and Tony Brooks

About the Artists

Tenara Calem is a theater maker, educator, and community organizer based in Philadelphia.

Tony Brooks is an activist and advocate for people with disabilities like himself. He is from Ghana and lives in West Philadelphia.

Shawn Aleong is a Temple University student and a disability advocate. Shawn has been a member of the ensemble of A Fierce Kind of Love by Suli Holum. He really enjoyed working on Elevators because it is a story about what people with disabilities go through on a day to day experience.
