About the Event
The Institute on Disabilities joins co-sponsors Disability Pride PA, Liberty Resources, Temple Disability Resources and Services, and Temple's 2025 Sex Ed Week to host a special film screening on March 25.
"Patrice: The Movie" will show for one night only at the Tyler School of Art and Architecture. Patrice is an independent, dynamic person living with cerebral palsy. This documentary rom-com features scenes from her life and loving relationship with Garry. Watch the trailer on YouTube.
An important conversation about marriage equality with the Patrice, Garry, and Director Ted Passon, Temple FMA '04, will follow the screening. The discussion will be moderated by Izzy Kaufman, MEd., Sexuality Educator and Assistive Technology Program Coordinator at the Institute on Disabilities.
Admission is free. Light refreshments will be provided.
