Come explore and learn about different types of Assistive Technology (AT). The event features demonstrations and opportunities for hands-on experience in a broad range of AT focused on increasing independence and quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

A sneak peek into the Open House includes the following AT categories:

  • Daily living
  • Adaptive gaming
  • Augmentative and alternative communication
  • Low vision and blindness
  • Much more...

This event is sponsored by ODP's Expanding Technology to Support Independence workgroup, whose focus is to identify ways in which technology can be used to support individuals with disabilities to acquire, maintain, or improve skills necessary to live independently.
