TIPPS Self-Reflection: Building Positive Behavior

Dear Early Childhood Educators and Administrators: Thank you for all you do to create learning spaces that are safe, stable, predictable, and nurturing. We know the work you do is hard!

This reflection tool has four parts:

  1. Your Classroom Environment - This self-reflection tool was developed to support you in considering current practices which encourage children to learn positive behaviors.
  2. Your Expectations - This self-reflection tool was developed to support you in considering current practices regarding expectations that encourage children to learn positive behaviors. 
  3. Educator Responses to Children's Actions - This self-reflection tool was developed to support you in considering current practices which encourage children to learn positive behaviors.
  4. Using Data to Make Decisions - This self-reflection tool was developed to support you in considering current practices which encourage children to learn positive behaviors.

About this Reflection Tool

NAEYC Developed a Comprehensive, Four Part Scale, "Building Positive Behavior." Each part has been made into its own survey to better connect survey topic to resource content. See the original full survey.
