Nova McGiffert is the Institute's Healthy Sexuality Project Coordinator. She provides affirming sexuality education for disabled folks, families, caregivers, and providers with a self-advocacy and disability justice framework. Nova facilitates the PA Disability and Sexuality Educator, Facilitator, and Provider Network. This is a disability-centered network of professionals focused on sex education and support across the state. Nova has a B.A. in Sociology and 20+ years of experience working with people with disabilities as a direct service provider, supports coordinator, educator, and community organizer.
