Ms. Ray-Leonetti is the Executive Director of the Institute on Disabilities at Temple University, College of Education and Human Development. Prior to assuming this role, she served as the Institute’s Associate Director of Policy from February 2018 – October 31, 2026.  

Before joining the Institute, Ms. Ray-Leonetti spent the first 20 years of her professional career advocating for individuals with disabilities throughout Pennsylvania. She has a BA in Humanities from York College of Pennsylvania and a JD from Temple University School of Law. Most recently, she earned a graduate certificate in Disability Studies from the College of Education and Human Development at Temple University.

Outside of her work at the IOD, Jamie enjoys singing with the Philly Pops Chorus, a 170 voice, auditioned group of singers from Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Jamie also enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Frank. She is a frequent volunteer with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as well as Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers Pennsylvania, where she was honored with the 2025 “Making a Difference” Award. Jamie proudly identifies as a member of the disability community.
