Alanna Raffel graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with a Master of Science in occupational therapy and from Temple University with a post-professional occupational therapy doctorate. Alanna worked as an occupational therapist for in a variety of settings including acute rehab, outpatient, and schools. She now works as the Assistant Director of Assistive Technology Community Engagement at TechOWL, the Assistive Technology Act program for Pennsylvania, which is housed at the Institute on Disabilities at Temple University. Alanna manages the new public TechOWL Community Space, which houses the used equipment program, maker space, accessible gaming, and more.
