A Fierce Kind of Love Returns!

A Fierce Kind of Love, produced by the Institute will return in March! This acclaimed play by Suli Holum has been selected to open the new FringeArts High Pressure Fire Service (HPFS) Festival on March 1-3, 2019. This opportunity will allow us to share stories of fierce love and advocacy with new audiences, and engage the community in conversations about what it means to live with disability today.

Tickets are now on sale.

Performed by a cast of artists with and without disabilities, A Fierce Kind of Love tells the stories of parents, siblings, activists and advocates with intellectual disabilities who struggled for equity and inclusion.

JOIN OUR FIERCE TEAM

The history and active issues of the Intellectual Disability Rights Movement are not taught in schools and are underrepresented in the media. We need your help to prepare the show for production. Your gift will support our cast and the accessibility features that make our play welcoming to all.

Please join our Fierce team by supporting our fundraising goal of $2,000 on Temple University's OwlCrowd campaign page.

We need your generous financial support, so that Fierce can become a play that everyone sees. With your gift, you'll support our cast of artists, help ensure that all performances are fully accessible and ultimately, help us give life to the compelling stories of the Intellectual Disability Rights Movement.
