Institute Hosts Third Annual Graduate Student Poster Session in April
The Institute on Disabilities, in partnership with the College of Education at Temple University, will hold the third annual Graduate Student Poster Session on Tuesday, April 21, 2015.
The event will feature posters on a variety of research topics from the Institute's nine graduate students along with students from two College of Education courses, Ethnographic Research Methods (EDUC 8102), Introduction to Research Design and Methods (CPSY 8627).
Each year, the poster session offers an opportunity for the graduate students to present their perspective on research in the disability field.
In previous years, poster sessions topics included:
- "Personal Outcome Measures and Retention in a Post-Secondary Certificate Program"
- "'Come Together Right Now' - Qualitatively Investigating Cross-Disciplinary Team Dynamics"
- "How Young Adults with Intellectual Disabilities Generalize Social Sexual Boundaries Portrayed in Television"
The poster session is free and open to the public, and will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in Room 211, Ritter Hall on Temple's main campus.
