Institute on Disabilities at Temple University hosts performance troupe from India

Sunadha, a unique troupe of dancers with visual impairment performed on the main campus of Temple University at the invitation of the Institute on Disabilities at Temple University.
The seven-member troupe performed a selection of dances in Indian classical forms like Bharathanatya, in the popular folk dance form and the traditional form of Kolata, as part of the celebration of the ACES program.
Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, a non-profit organization based in India, established this dance troupe to encourage talent among the visually impaired, disabled and underprivileged youth in India. They have performed across India, the United States and in the United Kingdom.
The graduation for ACES program (Augmentative Communication and Empowerment Supports) was held in The Underground on the main campus of Temple University on Sunday, July 31, 2011.
