As a Research Associate, Eva Weiss contributes to local, state and national projects, examining secondary transition, service provision, supported decision-making, cultural competency, the school-to-prison pipeline, and deinstitutionalization. While a trainee in Research and Evaluation, she developed a strong foundation in the history of disability rights and mixed methods research, and served as the IOD's AUCD Trainee Liaison. Eva is a PhD candidate in the Department of Anthropology at Temple University. Her research applies critical disability theory to the examination of immigration governance to reveal overlooked and interlocking regimes of ableism, nativism and racism, which actively produce labor market inclusion and social exclusion.
