Competence and Confidence: Partners in Policymaking (C2P2) - Emergency Preparedness

Spring 2015 Trainings

three women at table in planning sessionC2P2 - Emergency Preparedness brings together people with disabilities and their families with emergency planners in a unique, three-day training event.

People with disabilities are often not fully considered during emergency preparedness planning. In bringing together people with disabilities and their families with emergency planners, C2P2 Emergency Preparedness hopes to inform and encourage citizens to lead the effort in considering ALL people when creating emergency plans.

YOU CAN HELP make a difference.

People with disabilities and their family members will meet in Harrisburg on April 22 - 24, 2015, or in Pittsburgh on April 25 - 27 for FREE three-day training events. Emergency planners will join each group on the final day, with the goal of enhancing the direct involvement of Pennsylvanians with disabilities in emergency management at all levels and to effectively plan for the whole community.

All sessions are free (limited number of applicants accepted).
