Telecommunication Device Distribution Program (TDDP)

Free TDDP Training with Hands-on Activities

TDDP provides free specialized equipment to eligible Pennsylvanians with disabilities in order to increase access to telephone services.

This training is for anyone interested in learning to operate equipment available through TDDP, especially agencies who are or who would like to be Volunteer Centers for TDDP.

Training session will feature

  • A manufacturer demonstration of The DeafBlind Communicator
  • Hands-on activities: Try programs and equipment. Practice troubleshooting.
  • Prizes and free gifts
  • Lunch provided

Who should attend?

  • Staff from TDDP Volunteer Centers
  • Staff from agencies and organizations serving people with disabilities
  • People with disabilities, advocates, and family members

Attendees will:

  • Increase their ability to operate a variety of devices available through the TDDP
  • Learn about new equipment
  • Learn about the eligibility requirements and application process for TDDP
  • Understand the role of TDDP Volunteer Centers
