Collaborative Studies in Assistive Technology

Textbook: has been ordered through the Temple University bookstore; published by Brookes.

Augmentative and Alternative Communication: Supporting Children and Adults with Complex Communication Needs, Third Edition (Beukelman & Mirenda). This revised and updated third edition for students, speech- language pathologists, AAC team members, and rehabilitation specialists explains principles and procedures of AAC assessment and offers intervention techniques for both children and adults with congenital or acquired communication disorders.

Blackboard - Blackboard is online course management software. Course materials for Collaborative Studies in Assistive Technology are posted in Blackboard. Additional features of Blackboard such as class chats will also be explored.
